What is the USD conversion rate?

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and PayPal. If you prefer not to complete a credit card purchase on line, you can fax us your credit card information and we’ll keep it on file for any transactions you wish to make.

How do I know if something is on back order?
As you shop, we'll let you know if an item you wish to purchase is on back order or no longer available. If the item is on back order, we'll let you know when we expect it to be available for shipping. If something becomes permanently out of stock after you have made your purchase, we will let you know by email.

How can I check on the status of my online order?
We offer online order status, a feature that will let you check on your past and pending orders. Just click on the "Check Order Status”. This will take you to the "Order Status" page, where you can view the status of any order, or view a receipt from a previous order. Of course! We offer personalized assistance with business gift giving. Choose from specialized food products, gift baskets, cookware and cookbooks, or entertaining and bar accessories. You can redeem our Electronic Gift Cards at Muffet & Louisa online. Our traditional printed Gift Cards can be redeemed in either of our stores.

How long do registries stay active?
Gift registries remain active online and in our stores for one year after the date of the event.

We recommend you set up a registry at least 8 weeks before your event.

Can I make changes to my registry after I set it up?
Of course. You can add or delete items at any time online from your account. Or just contact us for any additions or changes you would like to make and we would be happy to do them for you.

How do I let people know that I’ve registered with Muffet & Louisa?
You can let friends and family know about your registry by email. Click “Notify Friends” when you are ready to share the registry.

How often are registry purchases updated online?
Your registry purchases are updated immediately once an item has been purchase online. If an item is purchased from your registry from either store, your registry will be updated at the store by one of our associates.

How will I know if someone has purchased an item from my registry?
As you set up your registry, you will have the option of being notified of purchases by email. Also, your list of registry items shows which have been purchased.

If I register, will my personal information (address, telephone numbers, etc.) be published on your website?
Your private information is only available for you to see. Others cannot access this information.

How do I close my registry?
From your “Edit gift registry” page you can uncheck the “active” box at the bottom of the page. This will deactivate your registry.

How do I find out if someone is registered with Muffet & Louisa?
To find a registry online, just click “Find a Registry”. Type the first and last name of the person you are looking for and click "Search".

I can’t access a registry online. What do I do?
For privacy reasons, some registrants choose to limit access to their online registry. If you cannot find a registry, please call 250-382-3201 (toll-free: 1-866-382-3201) or contact us.

Can I choose an item that isn’t included on the registry list?
Yes. We recommend first browsing the registrants' list. Then you can use "Search" to locate items by a keyword, or simply browse through our Kitchen, Dining, Bed and Bath departments to find something you’d like to give.

Do you include a card when I buy a gift online?
When you check out, you have the option of typing in a personal message that will be included with your gift.
|

Do you wrap gifts that I buy online?
Yes, we will wrap your gift for no extra charge if you ask us to. The gift-wrap option appears in the checkout area of our site. Please note that gift-wrapping will increase the size of your box, which will increase your shipping cost. (We regret that extra-large items and those shipped directly from the supplier cannot be gift wrapped.)

Shipping Information |

Can I ship to more than one address?
Yes. You can designate multiple recipients as you shop, including items from Wedding or Gift Registries. When you check out, you will be prompted to enter a shipping address for each recipient.
Any item you choose can be shipped to another recipient as a gift, and most can be gift-wrapped. For no extra charge, we’ll wrap each gift separately, trim it with a ribbon and print your personal message on an enclosed card.

What shipping options are available?
There are five shipping options.
1) Canadian Ground Shipping. Delivery within 3 – 5 days in Western Canada, and 7 – 10 days in Eastern Canada (excluding backorders)
2) Free local delivery within the Greater Victoria area (on orders over $100)
3) Pick up at our downtown Victoria store
4) Pick up at our Sidney store
5) Express Shipping is available - please contact us for more information.

How do you calculate delivery charges?
Canada Ground Shipping calculates shipping charges according to the size and weight of your package.

Yes. When you are asked for additional shipping details, you can specify when you would like your order to be shipped.

What is your return policy?
If you are not completely satisfied with a Muffet & Louisa purchase or gift for any reason, please return it for exchange or merchandise credit; or refund. You may return Muffet & Louisa merchandise at either of our stores or by mail. You will be responsible for shipping costs to return the product(s). Once an item has been received we will be happy to issue you a refund, as long as the product has been returned in sellable condition. Returns must be completed within 60 days of purchase, sale items within 7 days. Please contact us for any further details or prior to sending in a return. What do I do if I’ve lost my receipt or return instructions?

Are there any shipping restrictions?
Due to governmental regulations, flammable or pressurized products can not be shipped by air delivery. This applies on both deliveries and returns. This includes products such as fragrances, butane curling irons, and some lamps.

Absolutely. Every step of our online ordering process that requests credit card information employs Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. SSL renders information unreadable should anyone attempt to intercept it.
